In a season that Nottingham Forest have made Premier League history for all the wrong reasons, there’s light at the end of the tunnel for current boss Vitor Pereira and controversial owner Evangelos Marinakis. The East Midlands club have become the first in the modern era to cycle through four different managers in a single campaign. Nuno Espírito Santo started things off, followed by a disastrous month under Ange Postecoglou, a brief “salvage mission” by Sean Dyche, and now the appointment of Pereira. Despite the ongoing mess, Forest are edging further away from the Premier League relegation zone, while at the same time setting up a Europa League semi-final against Midlands rivals Aston Villa, winning the first leg 1-0 at the City Ground.

Currently five points above the relegation zone after routing Burnley and Sunderland, the Tricky Trees are on the cusp of survival after finding some form under Vitor Pereira. Morgan Gibbs-White has been influential in helping Forest out of their predicament. At the City Ground, the mood has certainly shifted in the wake of the positive upturn in fortunes, and Pereira is beginning to win over any doubters.

Nottingham Forest Football Club

Founded in 1865, Nottingham Forest is a cornerstone of English football, globally renowned for its miraculous era under Brian Clough. The club achieved the impossible, rising from the second division to become champions of England and, incredibly, back-to-back European Cup winners in 1979 and 1980. This unique legacy—holding more European Cups than top-flight league titles—remains the gold standard for every underdog story in the game. Based at the iconic City Ground on the banks of the River Trent, the Reds continue to be defined by a spirit of defiance and a rich history of flair-filled football.
