Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta celebrates at the Emirates

Arsenal’s journey under Mikel Arteta has seen the Gunners almost rediscover the glory days of Arsene Wenger – and with a spot in the Champions League final booked, there’s every chance the Spaniard will one-up the legendary Frenchman. On top of finalising their trip to Budapest at the end of May, Arsenal are also looking to win the Premier League title for the first time in over 20 years. There had been worrying signs that their title bid was falling apart in April. However, a new vein of form, coupled with a Manchester City slip-up, means that the title race is in the hands of the North London side as it enters its final weeks. Arteta, as one of the longest-reigning managers in the Premier League, has seen his future at the Emirates questioned. However, a first-ever Champions League or a historic Premier League win – or both – will no doubt etch his name in Arsenal’s glittering history.
